Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LeK Studio handles information when you use its public website, Windows desktop application, creator workflow, and social publishing integrations.
1. Information LeK Studio handles
- Account connection data: account identifiers, display names, access tokens, refresh tokens, and authorization status supplied by a connected platform.
- Creator content: video, audio, images, transcripts, captions, edits, review decisions, tags, schedules, and publishing metadata that you choose to process.
- Operational data: local application settings, job status, error information, and audit events needed to run and troubleshoot the workflow.
- Support information: messages and details you voluntarily provide through the support Discord.
2. How information is used
Information is used to find and prepare clips, preserve editing and review decisions, connect accounts you authorize, publish or schedule content you select, display job status, prevent duplicate actions, and maintain the reliability and security of LeK Studio.
3. TikTok data
When you connect TikTok, LeK Studio requests only the permissions needed for the enabled workflow. TikTok account information and authorization tokens are used to identify the authorized creator and publish creator-selected video through TikTok's APIs. LeK Studio does not use TikTok data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
4. Local processing and storage
LeK Studio is designed around a local Windows media workflow. Source media, generated clips, transcripts, edits, and application credentials are generally stored on the user's computer unless the user deliberately sends content to a connected service or enables a cloud workflow. Anyone with access to that Windows account or its files may be able to access locally stored data, so the device should be protected appropriately.
5. Sharing
LeK Studio sends information to a third-party platform only as needed to perform an action you request, such as account authorization or publishing a selected clip. Website infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare may process ordinary network and security data when serving this site. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or others.
6. Retention
Locally stored project data remains until it is removed through the application or deleted from the device. Connected-platform tokens remain until they expire, are revoked, or the account is disconnected. Third-party platforms retain published content and account records under their own policies.
7. Your choices
You can choose which account to connect, which content to process, and whether to queue a publishing action. You can disconnect social accounts in the Integrations workspace, revoke access through the platform's account settings, remove local media and application records, or contact support for help with an access or deletion request.
8. Security
LeK Studio uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to an actively developed creator tool. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and users should protect their Windows account and revoke any credential they believe may be exposed.
9. Children's privacy
LeK Studio is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International processing
Connected platforms and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms, policies, and applicable law.
11. Policy updates
This Policy may be updated as integrations and hosting change. The effective date above will be revised when an updated policy is published.
12. Contact
Privacy questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be sent through the official LeK Studio support Discord.
